If you or someone you know may have a gambling problem, please call the Alberta Health Service’s Addiction Help Line at 1-866-332-2322 .It’s important to think about your gambling habits and behaviours to ensure that gambling remains an entertaining and safe activity. Spending too much time and money on gambling can lead to problems for gamblers and their families.
Asking yourself questions like the ones contained in this quiz can help you understand your own gambling behaviour and whether or not a problem may be developing. Quizzes similar to this one are available online and/or through gambling treatment agencies. While these quizzes can help identify high-risk behaviour, they are not intended to diagnose problem gambling. In the event your quiz results indicate that you are demonstrating high-risk behaviour and may be developing a gambling problem, you need to take the next step and contact a gambling treatment agency, such as the Alberta Health Service’s Addiction Help Line at 1-866-332-2322.
